These terms cover what an online estimate is, what a price reservation does, and how deposits, balances, and cancellations work.
Estimates and firm quotes
A price produced by the configurator is an estimate based on the dimensions and options you entered. It becomes a firm quote after an on site laser measure confirms the opening. If the measure changes the price, we show you the change and the reason before you approve anything, and you are free to walk away at that point.
Railings, wine rooms, and long partition runs always require a site visit and engineering review. Ranges shown for those products are planning numbers, not quotes.
Price reservation, deposit, and balance
A price reservation places an authorization hold on your card. A hold is not a charge. If you cancel, or if we cancel, the hold is released and nothing is captured, so no fee ever appears on your statement for a reservation that did not proceed.
After you approve the firm quote, a deposit releases fabrication. Because glass is cut and tempered to your opening it cannot be resold, so the deposit becomes non refundable once fabrication starts. We tell you the exact moment that happens. The balance is due on completion of the installation.
Scheduling, site conditions, and liability
You are responsible for providing access to the work area on the scheduled date and for clearing the space around the opening. Conditions we could not see at the measure, such as missing wall blocking, an unslopped curb, or failed waterproofing, may require additional work that is quoted separately before we proceed.
Tempered glass can fail spontaneously in rare cases from inclusions in the raw material. That is covered under our warranty. Damage from impact, abrasive cleaners, third party adjustment of hardware, or building movement is not.
