New towers versus 1970s stock

In new construction on the beach, openings are square, ceilings are tall, and the work is straightforward: measure, fabricate, set. In the older buildings the same nominal 60 inch alcove can measure 58 and change at the bottom and 60 and change at the top, so every panel is templated individually.

Older buildings also hide the second problem: a tile curb built without slope. Glass does not fix water that already wants to run out. We flag it before ordering rather than sealing over it.
